from Lawrence, Sunday PhiloMadrid meeting: Is every person their own world? + News

Dear friends,

This Sunday we are discussing: Is every person their own world?

If we are unique, as we believe even on scientific basis to be, then we also should see the world
around us in a unique way. And yet we can still investigate the behaviour of human beings and draw
general conclusion; predictive general conclusions. And the worst form of these predictive exercises
is of course stereotyping at best or racist believes at worst.

In the meantime Miguel has details of a Tertulia de Matemáticas:

Estimado tertuliano,

In the meantime I look forward to seeing on Sunday,
