Dear friends,
This week we are discussing Hope.
Maybe an emotion that is strange because its function is to override
rationally obvious or self evident negative events or conclusions. And
the hope we are interested is the one that is close to a definition of
wishful thinking or nearly impossible to happen sort of desires. So, I
hope you are well is not the same as I hope you will get well. There is
a gulf of difference between the two.
Although at the subjective level I would be inclined to think that hope
is a negative feeling (emotion), this does not mean that the world out
there is determined to take a negative course of action. Just because we
are left with only hope between our life and desperation, the world
might turn out to be kind to us.
Talking about hope, Michael, Carlos and Miguel have asked me to share

CONVOCATORIA-REUNIÓN DE COMISIONES

Estimados Amigos, Socios, y Simpatizantes:
Por la presente os convocamos a una Reunión de Trabajo de las Comisiones
del Club del Hombre Libre el próximo 23 de Septiembre, Miércoles, de 20
a 21 horas, en el Centro Cultural Galileo, C/ Galileo Nº 39.
Las Comisiones nos permiten poner en práctica la acción social en el
Distrito de Chamberí, para trabajar en intereses y problemas comunes.
La segunda área de acción social son los Actos Culturales, tales como
los Crepúsculos Culturales de Olavide, que ponen de relieve la riqueza
cultural y creativa en el distrito.
La tercera área de trabajo son las Conferencias, en las que respetados
profesionales comparten con nosotros sus conocimientos, aplicados
siempre a la Libertad.
